You can locate us in the Upper Cecina Valley, where the main cultural center is Volterra, a historically significant Etruscan city that also boasts Roman, medieval, and Renaissance remnants.Our recently restored stony farmhouse adheres to Tuscan architecture and sits opposite S. Dalmazio, an ancient town just 700 meters away. This is the very place where the renowned writer Carlo Cassola set his romantic novel "Il taglio del bosco."
Situated in the Pomarance district of Pisa province, our farmstead resides in the High Maremma Toscana geographical zone, near the enchanting landscapes of the "Colline Metallifere." These landscapes range from lush woods like the Berignone Wood, Tatti, and Monterufoli Wood, to breathtaking gullies, crags, and geysers.
Perched on a hill 350 meters high, our farmstead immerses you in the tranquility of the countryside. It is encompassed by 60 hectares of land where we cultivate organic wheat and olives.
Join us for a delightful breakfast (B&B) or dinner (half-board) on our veranda, which offers a splendid view of the 12th-century Rocca Sillana. This landmark is easily accessible on foot. Our meals showcase the finest Tuscan cuisine and incorporate fresh organic produce from our garden (vegetarian options available upon request). We exclusively use our own organic extra-virgin olive oil in our dishes and on our tables.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH (GENOVA - PARMA - LA SPEZIA):
Take Highway A12 (Genova-Rosignano) and exit at Rosignano. Continue on the "Variante Aurelia SS1" route towards Grosseto. Then, take the exit for Cecina Nord. From there, follow Statale n° 68 towards Volterra. Continue straight towards Saline di Volterra. Take a right turn towards Pomarance. After passing through the town, follow the signs for Larderello. After 3 km, take a left turn towards S.Dalmazio. Just 500m after S.Dalmazio, you will see a sign indicating "Podere Apparita" on your right. Continue straight on that road for 300m and you will have arrived at your destination.
DIRECTIONS FROM PISA AIRPORT:
Take the FI-PI-LI highway towards Firenze and take the second exit for Pontedera. Follow the signs for Volterra until you reach Saline di Volterra. From there, proceed to Pomarance. After passing through the town, follow the signs for Larderello. After 3 km, take a left turn towards S.Dalmazio. Just 500m after S.Dalmazio, you will see a sign indicating "Podere Apparita" on your right. Continue straight on that road for 300m and you will have arrived at your destination.
DIRECTIONS FROM BOLOGNA-FIRENZE:
When you reach Firenze, take the exit for Firenze Impruneta. Then, take the highway towards Siena and exit at Colle Val dElsa Sud (turn right). At the roundabout, continue towards Radicondoli-Grosseto for 10 km until you see a gas station called "Total" on the left and the "La Speranza" restaurant on your right. Turn right after the restaurant. After 2 km, take a left turn towards Monteguidi. After a couple of km, turn right towards Pomarance. Pass through the towns of Monteguidi and Montecastelli, then follow the road signs to San Dalmazio. After 3 km from Montecastelli, you will see the sign for our farmstead situated 300m ahead on the left.

Take the Highway until Civitavecchia, then continue along the Aurelia highway and exit at Cecina NORD. From there, take route Statale nr. 68 towards Volterra and continue straight towards Saline di Volterra. Turn right towards Pomarance. After passing through the town, follow the signs for Larderello.
