Come and stay with the Duff family in their fully renovated 19th-century vineyard mansion, located just 7km from Narbonne. Choose from three guest bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bath or shower room. You'll have access to the beautiful garden, complete with a secure swimming pool, where you can also enjoy a barbecue. Breakfast can be enjoyed in either the courtyard or the salon de chasse. Parking is available in our private cave, or if you prefer to self-cater, there's a village house for 4-6 people just across the street. Cuxac d Aude is a perfect base for exploring the area, with Narbonne only 10km away and the Mediterranean beaches just 25 minutes by car. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Cathare castles, the Cite of Carcassonne, and the Canal du Midi, all conveniently located nearby. And with the picturesque vineyards of Corbieres and Minervois surrounding you, there's plenty to see and do during your stay.

Village House

This village house has been beautifully renovated in the charming Mediterranean style. Located in a tranquil area on the outskirts of Cuxac, it can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people.

The house features 2 double bedrooms with 140cm beds, as well as a mezzanine with 2 single beds. The double bedrooms and a bathroom with a separate toilet are located on the ground floor.

On the first floor, you'll find a spacious dining room and sitting area with a cozy fireplace (wood provided), perfect for relaxing evenings. The fully equipped kitchen is also on this floor. Double doors open up to a terrace with a barbecue and outdoor furniture, ideal for enjoying meals al fresco.

For those looking to extend their stay, this gite is ideally situated for exploring the surrounding region. The beautiful coastline and beaches are just a 20-30 minute drive away, and there are numerous cycling and walking routes to discover. The famous Canal du Midi is also nearby. History and culture enthusiasts will be delighted with the abundance of sites to visit, including the Cathar castles and the medieval city of Carcassonne, all within an hour's drive.

Directions

To reach our location, follow these revised travel directions:
Take the exit at junction 38 on the autoroute du Sud A9 and head towards Carcassonne on the ring road N9. Continue following the signs to Beziers and then to Cuxac d Aude. At the fourth roundabout, take the last exit onto D13 towards Cuxac d Aude.
Once in the village, you will notice the boulangerie on your right. Opposite the boulangerie, take the turn towards Salleles. At the Hotel de Ville, turn left and continue for 200m until you see our signpost directing you left onto rue du Bac. Look out for another sign indicating Maison Pelissier, where you can park in the cave opposite.
