Birch Cottage is conveniently located just a 30-minute drive from Inverness and its airport. The surrounding area offers breathtaking scenery, including Applecross, Gairloch, the Black Isle, Glen Affric, and Ullapool, all within a short distance. Additionally, the famous Kyle Line, which starts in Inverness and stops at Garve, provides easy access to the Kyle of Lochalsh. For those interested in exploring Skye, it is just over an hour away by car. Nature enthusiasts will find numerous Munros nearby, perfect for those seeking outdoor adventures. Moreover, the region is rich in cultural attractions such as distilleries, castles, and museums. In the evenings, guests can look forward to a delightful meal prepared by our experienced chef, Ray, who has 35 years of culinary expertise. Please note that we do not have a liquor license, so we kindly request that guests bring their own beer or wine to enjoy with their meal. Payment is accepted in British pounds.
