Directions

To reach "Les Bouffards," which are situated in the middle of the Sologne forest between Orléans and Bourges, follow these travel directions:

1. If you are coming from the A71 highway Orléans/Clermont-Ferrand, take exit n°3 Lamotte-Beuvron. After exiting, turn right and head towards Lamotte.
2. At the second round crossing on main road N20, turn right in the direction of Bourges/Vierzon.
3. After traveling 500m, turn left onto road D923 towards Brinon sur Sauldre/Aubigny.
4. Continue on this road for 8km until you see a sign that says "Département du Cher." Keep going straight for an additional 2km.
5. Once you reach milestone n°2 at the end of a long straight road, just before a left curve, you will notice an earth lane on your left with a signpost that reads "Les Bouffards 1.5km."
6. Drive over the Sauldre canal and turn left before a small pond where wild ducks and herons can be seen. Pass in front of a guard house and a large, restored farmhouse on your right.
7. Continue straight ahead until you reach a gate facing the lane. Enter the property by driving through the gate and proceed to the Castle on the right.
8. For precise GPS coordinates, the location is 47°566 Nord – 2°145 Est.
