Our bed and breakfast offers stunning views of the charming village of St Symphorien de Mahun, nestled in the beautiful Ardeche Mountains. The house, constructed with stones in the 19th century, features six rooms that can accommodate 2 to 4 persons. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom and toilet. Additionally, our spacious dining room, measuring 100m2, boasts a cozy fireplace, a library, an astronomical telescope, and several comfortable lounges.Outside, guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the swimming pool, entertain their children with the swing and slide, or relax on the shaded terrace while admiring the magnificent mountain views. For summer picnics, we provide a refrigerator, table, and chairs for your convenience.
Catherine & Christophe, our dedicated hosts, prepare delicious meals with a Mediterranean influence using fresh and high-quality products sourced from local markets and producers. The quality of our services and products, combined with the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings, create a warm and inviting atmosphere. A specialty of our breakfast is our homemade jams, which come in 70 different varieties and are made with a delightful mix of fruits, spices, honey, and flowers.
In terms of leisure and activities, guests can take advantage of the amenities available at La Chastanha, including the swimming pool, mountain bikes, an astronomical telescope, and a massage salon (see index massage bien-être). We also provide hiking maps for those who wish to explore the marked hiking paths that start from our village. Additionally, St Symphorien de Mahun boasts two medieval churches and the ruins of Mahun castle, adding historical and cultural attractions to your stay.

1. Drive on the A7 highway.
2. Take the ANNONAY-ST RAMBERT OF ALBON exit, just after VIENNA(VIENNE).
3. Follow the signs for ANNONAY and SATILLIEU-LA LOUVESC.
4. Once in SATILLIEU, take a small road on the right towards ST SYMPHORIEN DE MAHUN.
If you are coming from the South:
1. Drive on the A7 highway.
2. Take the SILVERING THE HERMITAGE exit.
3. Follow the signs for St Vallier.
4. In St Vallier, cross the bridge to Sarras.
5. Continue following the signs for Satillieu.
6. Once in Satillieu, turn right following the indication for St Symphorien de Mahun.
