Surrounded by notable attractions such as the National riding school, golf courses, and renowned wineries with a global reputation, guests can also explore the scenic landscapes of the Loire Valley and Thouet by bike.

The "Clos" was originally part of the ancient woods known as "Bois Bard" and later became the property of M. Fouquet, the financial minister of Louis the 14th, King of France. During the 19th Century, the second and third floors were added to the property.

Interestingly, the esteemed author Honoré De Balzac was a frequent guest of the owner in the 19th Century.
