Located 20km from Ajaccio in the beautiful Prunelli Valley, our guest house, Casa Chiesa della Vigna, is the perfect retreat. Only 15 minutes away from the stunning beaches, 20 minutes from the majestic mountains, and just 5 minutes from the peaceful river, our location offers a tranquil and rejuvenating experience.

We offer two guest rooms on the left side of our house, both beautifully decorated with a unique theme. The Asian-inspired room is fresh and zen, decorated in beige, white, and gray, while the African-inspired room is warmer, adorned with orange tones, red, and wood. Both rooms are air-conditioned and share a common bathroom and separate toilet. Families are also welcome, as the Asian room can accommodate up to three people, with an additional bed available for an extra fee. We also provide a cot for children under three years old, turning the room into a family suite for four people.

At Casa Chiesa della Vigna, we offer a breakfast table where you can indulge in regional cuisine made from high-quality ingredients sourced from our region and garden. Additionally, our fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal if you wish to prepare your own meals. You are welcome to explore and relax in our garden and the surrounding area, and children can enjoy outdoor games.

Our guest house is ideally located between the sea and mountains, allowing you to enjoy the wonders of Corsica. Whether you prefer simple walks, hiking, discovering the local heritage, or swimming, our location offers it all. We recommend taking a day trip starting from Casa Chiesa della Vigna, heading towards Bastelica and Val d'Ese, where you can enter the forest of the Pineta and admire the Genoese bridge. Bastelica, the hometown of the famous Sampiero Corso, offers a heritage trail to explore the mountain village. For the adventurous, the Ese plateau and its hiking trails are a must-visit. On your way back to Cauro, take a detour to admire the beautiful Prunelli gorges and our river valley.

Before leaving, make sure to take in the breathtaking view of the village of Tolla and its lake. Explore the village on foot, enjoy water sports, picnic areas, and swimming by the lake. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the dam without any fear of heights. Finally, head towards Bastelicaccia and Huerta to join the N 196, or continue to Ajaccio to witness the famous sunset of the Sanguinary Islands or enjoy a night swim on one of the stunning beaches in Porticcio.

After experiencing this day filled with natural wonders, you will understand why the Greeks named Corsica Kallisté, meaning "the most beautiful."

Description for Gite

Located in the picturesque village of Cauro, our guest house offers a cozy and comfortable stay for up to four people. The lower part of the left wing of our house features a 40 m2 air-conditioned unit, consisting of a main room with a fully equipped kitchenette, including a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, and food processor. The main room also doubles as a lounge area with a TV, which can be used as a sleeping area for two people on a bz sofa bed.

The unit also includes a separate bedroom with a comfortable 140 bed and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Outside, you will have access to a terrace with garden furniture and barbecue grills, allowing you to enjoy delicious meals throughout the year. If you prefer, you can also join us for dinner at our table.

The village of Cauro offers various amenities, including bars, restaurants, a pizzeria, grocery stores, and a bread depot. You will also find a doctor and a post office nearby. With our convenient location, you will have easy access to the beautiful beaches, mountains, and rivers of the Prunelli valley.

Currently under renovation, our new villa "Babbu u" will be available from May 2015. The villa will feature a modern and stylish design, with two bedrooms, a dining room with a corner TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom. Outside, you will have access to a shaded arbor, a laundry room, and a garden terrace with sun loungers and a BBQ.

During your stay, you can also enjoy our above ground pool, as well as other outdoor activities such as swing, table tennis, boules, and badminton. We provide linens and towels, as well as various amenities including book loans, board games, tourist guides, and wifi.
