Welcome to our charming country cottage in St. Margaret of Elle, a historic building beautifully constructed with stone in the 17th century. Approved by "gite de France" with 3 "épis" rating, our cottage has been completely renovated and offers a comfortable stay for up to eight people.

Conveniently situated between Bayeux and St Lo, our cottage is nestled in a large enclosed area, close to the famous landing beaches, the Regional Park of Cotentin and Bessin. It is an ideal location for exploring the Normandy coast and the department of Manche, including the stunning Bay of Veys and the magnificent Mount St. Michel.

There are plenty of activities nearby to keep you entertained, such as hiking, horseback riding, or cycling through the picturesque groves and villages along the Vire. For those seeking relaxation, the St Lo aquatic center is just a short distance away. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a game at the nearby course, and fishing enthusiasts will find ample opportunities in the surrounding area. Additionally, there is a bowling alley and a wealth of cultural heritage to explore.

The house itself is independent and offers a comfortable and spacious layout. On the ground floor, you will find an entrance, a large 25 m2 kitchen, a 40 m2 living room with sofas and armchairs, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there are five bedrooms with a total of seven beds, along with another bathroom and two toilets.

Our cottage is equipped with modern amenities, including a dishwasher, washing machine, interior and exterior dryer, wall oven, ceramic hob, electric heating, and a stove.

We offer flexible rental options, with weekly rates varying according to the season. In high season, the rate is €550 per week, in mid-season, it is €385 per week, and in low season, it is €290 per week. For shorter stays, we offer a weekend rate of €190 and a midweek rate of €240. There is also the possibility to rent the cottage on a monthly basis.

Please note that additional charges apply for water, electricity, and heating services between November 1 and April 30 (€25 per week) and between May 1 and October 31 (€15 per week). If you choose to bring a pet, there is an additional charge of €10 per week.

We also offer optional services such as bed linen and towel rental for €10 per person and end of stay cleaning for €35.

Directions

To reach your destination, you have two options:

1. By train: The closest train station, Lison station, is situated 3 km away. From there, you can directly access Caen, Cherbourg, and Paris.

2. By road: If you are coming from Caen or Cherbourg, take the N12 and then exit at 37a. This will lead you towards Ballymena, Saint Lo, and Cerizy Forest.
