Description for B&B:

Experience a touch of history at Maison Dauphin. This charming medieval house invites you to escape the constraints of time and immerse yourself in its unique ambiance. Tucked away in the heart of Crozet's medieval village, Maison Dauphin is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

Dating back to the early sixteenth century, this character-filled house holds a significant place in history. It derives its name from Bishop Dauphin, a prelate of Pope Leo XIII, who was born on November 10, 1806, and passed away in Clamart in 1879. The bishop rests in the church he had constructed on the castle's ruins. Before the fifteenth century, Maison Dauphin served as a slaughterhouse, reflecting the village's former prosperity. Its architectural splendor, a testament to the reign of Louis XII, shines through its granite and yellow limestone facade, especially during summer sunsets.

Indulge in our "Eat Well" philosophy. We offer the choice of dining in the communal dining room for a delightful evening shared with us or in one of our private spaces for a more intimate experience.
