Description for B&B:

Located just a short distance from the bustling city centre, nestled in the peaceful St Genès area, you will find the charming blue house and its welcoming hosts. This unique lodging option offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, filled with character.

Unlike the standard hotels found in Bordeaux, this private house is situated on the outskirts of the city centre. However, it is conveniently serviced by regular bus and tram lines, allowing you to easily explore the Bordeaux region and all its attractions. Upon arrival, you can simply unpack your suitcases, park your car, and embark on a memorable adventure.

Constructed in the late 19th century, this "vieille dame" has preserved its distinctive Bordeaux style and architecture. As you enter, you will be greeted by a street-facing entrance and a charming flower and herb garden, where smokers can relax. Inside, you can escape the summer heat and enjoy the cool rooms, sheltered by the sturdy stone walls.

For accommodations, there are two separate rooms available near the entrance of the house, accommodating between 2 to 4 people. So whether you are traveling alone, with a partner, or a small group, you will find the perfect space to unwind and feel at home.

The perfect B&B

Valerie is the perfect hostess and her home is the place to stay in Bordeaux. The house is located inside the magnificent UNESCO area and is only a short walk plus tram ride away from the city center. After enjoying Valerie's magnificent breakfast the stroll to the tram is just what you need.
Valerie is a treasure Box of information, by listening to her tips we had amazing experiences of Bordeaux and the surroundings. Thank you Valerie - you made this holiday just perfect!
Overnight stay in Bordeaux

What an excellent place to stay when driving down through France. Couldn't fault the accommodation or the location - a short tram ride from the city centre. Patricia was very helpful in recommending places to eat and drink and we really appreciated the way that she allowed us to use our rather rusty French even though she does speak excellent English.

Maison calme et charmante
Review by: Isabelle, Avr 24 2014 2:37PM
