Description for B&B:

Come and experience a warm and inviting stay at our charming Bed & Breakfast located in the picturesque Lot department of France. Nestled in the tranquil hills, our farmhouse-turned-home offers newly refurbished en-suite bedrooms that provide utmost comfort. Surrounded by stunning countryside and abundant wildlife, our property is only a short distance away from the delightful old market town of St. Céré.

At our Bed & Breakfast, we take pride in creating a "home from home" atmosphere for our guests. Our guest book is filled with glowing comments about our evening dinners, which are lovingly prepared by Alex using locally sourced seasonal produce. We are especially renowned for our imaginative vegetarian options, which have earned us recognition as one of the top "veggie friendly" Bed & Breakfasts on the Guardian Newspaper Travel Website. In fact, our vegetarian menu includes a lemon tart that rivals those found in a patisserie!

Aside from the numerous medieval villages and towns waiting to be explored, our location is a paradise for walkers and nature enthusiasts. To enhance your experience, we offer an independent walking holiday package that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of France. Additionally, there are plenty of activities to enjoy in the area, such as horse-riding, canoeing on the river Dordogne, and cycling both on and off-road. For those seeking relaxation on hot summer days, the nearby Lac du Tolerme offers a refreshing freshwater lake surrounded by gorgeous scenery, complete with its own restaurant and ideal for swimming.

Within easy reach, you can discover the enchanting "Les Plus Beaux Villages De France" such as Autoire, Cardaillac, Carennac, Turenne, and Loubressac. Not to be missed are the charming riverside at Beaulieu sur Dordogne and the breathtaking village of Rocamadour, the second most visited site in France! Make sure to also explore Figeac with its medieval center and our personal favorite, the weekly market. Don't forget to visit the fascinating cave systems, including the renowned Gouffre de Padirac, as well as one of the best birds of prey centers in France. With all these attractions and the many local fetes and festivals, our Bed & Breakfast is the perfect destination for a memorable holiday in the beautiful Lot department.
