Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, there is something for everyone here, from hiking and golf to horse riding and nautical activities. For the thrill-seekers, karting is also available in the vicinity.

At La Demeure des détectives, we aim to provide more than just a place to rest your head. Our guest house, with a capacity to accommodate up to 14 people, offers four individually furnished and decorated rooms, each transporting you to a different era and location, inspired by iconic detectives. Whether you fancy a journey through Romantic Italy, Imperial China, Victorian England, or Modern Sweden, our charming guest rooms are certain to captivate you.

Not only is our Bed & Breakfast a haven of tranquility, but it also boasts an array of communal spaces for you to enjoy. With access to nearly 150m² of shared areas and over one hectare of lush gardens, there is no shortage of entertainment. Indoors, you can indulge in a game of billiards, play the piano, or engage in board games, card games, or peruse our extensive book collection. Outdoors, challenge your companions to a game of table tennis, French Petanque, Finnish Mölkky, or various ball and racket games. To enhance your experience and showcase the bountiful produce from our garden, we also offer a delectable dining experience at our host table.

Directions

By road:

From Orléans (25 min): Take the Tangential East and exit at Chécy. Turn left towards Neuville aux Bois until you reach Traînou.

From Paris (1h30): Take A6B, then N20 to Etampes. Continue on D721, then D921 to Pithiviers. From Loury, join D2152 and follow signs to Traînou.

From central Traînou (2 min): Take rue du Gros Baril. At the end, turn left onto Rue de la Carrière, then right onto Rue de Laurendière. After the "Traînou" sign, turn right onto des Puiseaux.

By train: The closest station is Orleans - Aubrais. From there, it's a 25-minute drive, 35 minutes by bus, or 1 hour by bike.

By bus: Take line 16 "Orleans - Ingrannes" until the Traînou Stadium stop or the College Traînou stop. Bus timetables can be found on ulys-loiret.com. We can also arrange to pick you up upon request (the stop is 1km away from the guest house).
