Description for B&B:

Welcome to our beautifully restored maison-de-maitre, owned by Sue and Dave Scales. Located in a charming stone hamlet, our property offers stunning views of a peaceful green valley. Despite the tranquility, we are just a short drive away from the bustling restaurants of the historic village of St Jean-de-Côle. Another must-visit attraction in the Dordogne is the medieval town of Brantôme, which is conveniently nearby.

For those arriving by air, Limoges airport is less than an hour's drive away and offers connections to various UK destinations. Bergerac airport is about 85km away, while Bordeaux airport is 100km away. Car rental services are readily available at all three airports.

Our house is bright and spacious, exuding a country-house ambiance with a delightful blend of French and English antiques. Each of our two large bedrooms can accommodate up to four guests and features a shower room and WC.

Outside, our two-acre gardens are a sight to behold. A Mediterranean-style courtyard with shaded terraced seating invites relaxation, while extensive stone terraces lead to a large swimming pool and sun terrace. From every corner of the garden, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the valley.

We offer year-round accommodation at a tariff ranging from 50 to 80 Euros per room, depending on the season and number of occupants. Payment should be made in cash Euros at the end of your stay.

Situated in the Perigord Vert region of the Dordogne, we are just a few kilometers away from the Limousin National Park. Our location also allows easy access to various tourist attractions, including the historic town of Brantôme with its Abbey and waterways, the majestic Chateau of Puyguilhem, and the caves at Villars. Don't miss the chance to visit the Chateau at Bourdeilles, renowned for its historic tower, and the cathedral city of Perigueux.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, canoeing, and fishing in our area. And if relaxation is your priority, you can simply unwind by the pool and enjoy the serenity. For those looking to buy a property in our region, we are happy to share our own experience of moving to and living in France. Additionally, there is an excellent English-speaking estate agent just a short drive away, offering expert advice.
