Description for B&B:

Experience a serene retreat at the enchanting "Mas des Sources" nestled in the charming hamlet of Le Fayet, within the picturesque village of Sanilhac. Situated midway between Largentière and Joyeuse, and in close proximity to the breathtaking Ardèche and Beaume gorges, this idyllic haven offers a perfect respite.

Perched above the Blajoux valley, this hamlet is embraced by a majestic pine forest, inviting you to explore the unspoiled surroundings on leisurely walks. As of July 1st, the owners graciously welcome guests to two captivating bed and breakfast rooms, immersed in tranquility and nature. The first is a spacious suite exuding elegance, adorned with a harmonious blend of grey and off-white tones, seamlessly complementing the natural elements and antique furnishings, acquired from the renowned "Brocante" market, such as the exquisite vintage chest of drawers discovered in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

Reflecting the owner's dedication to preserving the authentic charm of the property, the house was meticulously crafted by his own hands, utilizing traditional materials like terracotta roof tiles, sandstone walls, and floors. Bathed in an abundance of sunlight, courtesy of its sliding glass doors, the house boasts a ground floor location, where the rooms exude a luminous ambiance, embellished with whitewashed walls and antique furniture featuring a refined white and grey finish. The windows are graced with linen curtains sourced from the esteemed Brocante in Beaucaire, Provence.

The expansive suite, spanning 50 square meters, boasts a private entrance and is adorned with natural stone flooring and wooden beam ceilings. Illuminated by the soft glow of natural light streaming through the large glass doors that lead to an indoor patio and covered terrace, this room features a queen-size bed, a well-appointed bathroom, and a cozy stove. Embrace the countryside charm and admire the exquisite antiques that adorn this exquisite sanctuary.

The standard room, enveloping 30 square meters, opens to an indoor patio through two grand glass doors, showcasing a delightful fusion of white, off-white, and grey hues. Equipped with a comfortable double bed and a stylish bathroom with a shower, this room offers a serene haven. Bask in the southern sun on the terrace, complete with a refreshing natural spring water pool. Alternatively, seek solace beneath the shade of a fragrant linden tree in the garden, or unwind by the swimming pool or in the sauna, indulging in pure relaxation.

Appréciations pour Le Domaine du Fayet, Sanilhac:

Weekend entre amis Maison Académie
Review by: Axelle, Juin 14 2016 11:31AM
