Located in the charming village of Godewaersvelde, this historic house from 1870 offers a delightful stay in the heart of the Monts de Flandres region. With its convenient location just a few kilometers from the Belgian border, Godewaersvelde is easily accessible and only 30 minutes away from both Lille and the Opal Coast, as well as 10 km from Poperinge.

The first floor of the house is dedicated to three spacious and comfortable boutique guest rooms, all tastefully decorated. The Sweet Duplex room, covering 35m2, features a cozy living room with a sofa bed (140/200), a comfortable bed (160/200), a stylish bathroom with a shower (120/90) and a basin, as well as a separate toilet. The Garden of Dreams room offers approximately 25m2 of space, with a luxurious bed (160/200), a futon sofa, a bathroom complete with a corner bath and a basin, and a separate toilet. Both rooms are equipped with flat screen TVs for your entertainment. The third bedroom, covering 25m2, comes with a double bed, a private shower room, and a separate toilet.

On the ground floor, guests can relax in the welcoming living room which is filled with books and brochures for their perusal. Additionally, a charming veranda provides a space for games and socializing. Meals can be arranged upon reservation, allowing guests to savor delicious cuisine without having to venture far. The house also boasts a vast enclosed garden spanning 1900 m², perfect for enjoying the outdoors. For those traveling with bicycles, there is a secure storage area available. A garden lounge provides a comfortable spot to unwind and soak up the scenery.

With its proximity to various attractions, there are plenty of interesting sites to explore. Belgium is just 7 km away, while Cassel is a short 15 km journey and Ypres, known for its Flanders Fields Museum and Last Post ceremony, is 22 km away. Other notable destinations include Bray-Dunes (38 km), Lille and Saint-Omer (40 km), Malo-les-Bains (46 km), and Louvre-Lens (58 km).

Directions

To reach our location from Dunkerque, take the A25 / E42 and exit at 13 for Steenvoorde / Poperinge. Follow the signs for Poperinge. When you reach the first roundabout, go around it and take the last exit. At the second roundabout, continue straight. At the third roundabout, take the first right towards Godewaersvelde. Keep going for approximately 3 km until you reach the village center. Our house is located about 500 meters after the entrance sign, on the right side. Look for a France Bed panel affixed to the fence of the house to guide you.

If you are coming from Lille on the A25 / E42, take exit 12 for Bailleul center / Méteren. Turn right and enter Méteren. Then, take the first left onto Rue des 4 son Aymon (direction Godewaersvelde). Continue for about 7 km, passing through Mont des Cats, until you reach Godewaersvelde. At the village entrance, continue straight until you reach a stop sign. Go straight at the stop sign and you will find our house on the left. Look for a France Bed panel affixed to the fence of the house to guide you.

If you are coming from Bailleul, take the direction of Méteren. In Méteren, turn right onto Rue des 4 Aymon son (direction Godewaersvelde).
