Description for B&B:

Originally constructed in 1680, La Ferme du Chateau is a unique catered chalet farmhouse that effortlessly blends traditional charm with modern comforts. Located in the picturesque old farming village of La Chapelle d'Abondance, this accommodation offers convenient access to various activities, as well as bars, shops, and restaurants.

Experience 5-star quality accommodation at an affordable price. La Ferme du Chateau boasts six ensuite bedrooms, all of which can be arranged as twin or king-size double rooms. Most rooms can accommodate additional beds without compromising comfort, allowing for a maximum capacity of 18 guests. Each bedroom is beautifully furnished, featuring 5-star hotel quality beds, Egyptian cotton linen, luxury toiletries, fluffy dressing gowns, hairdryers, and iPod docking stations. Additionally, all bedrooms have access to a south-facing balcony, with one bedroom even having its own private balcony. To further enhance relaxation, there is a sunken hot tub on the lower balcony, providing the perfect treat after a day of activities.

The living and dining area is incredibly spacious, featuring a central wood-clad open fire. With six large sofas, a TV area on the minstrel gallery, a cozy reading snug, a dining area, and a separate south-facing balcony, this living space offers ample room to unwind and enjoy aperitifs.

At La Ferme du Chateau, delicious food and wine are an integral part of the experience. During winter, guests can indulge in a cooked English breakfast and afternoon tea daily, as well as a 4-course evening meal with wine on six nights. One evening is left free for guests to explore local restaurants, and there is also an option for early children's supper.

Expect excellent service throughout your stay. As an owner-run chalet, we prioritize ensuring your holiday exceeds expectations. From the moment you arrive in Geneva, we take care of everything for you. Ski hire will be ready upon your arrival, ski passes and refreshments will be waiting at the chalet, and we provide daily transportation to and from the slopes. We can also arrange trips to various après-ski bars, thermal centers, and lessons, ensuring you have a stress-free experience.

La Ferme du Chateau offers flexibility to suit your needs. During winter, the farmhouse is available on a catered basis for holidays and breaks of three or more days. In the summer, it can be booked on a self-catered, bed and breakfast, or half board basis (including breakfast, tea, and a three-course evening meal with wine).

Additionally, our farmhouse is the perfect venue for special events such as weddings, milestone birthdays, and corporate gatherings. Whether you're planning a winter or summer holiday or organizing a special event, our dedicated team will be there to assist in organizing every detail, allowing you to relax and fully enjoy your time with Savoie Faire.
