Description:

Description for B&B:

Located between Provence and Cévennes, and near the Ardeche Gorges, our property offers a pleasant climate and an ideal location for a holiday or a relaxing stay. The OUSTAU The MULBERRY welcomes individuals, couples, or groups of friends for a stay of two, three, or more nights in the heart of the village of BARJAC, which is labeled as a "Character Village" and has preserved the charm of old Provencal villages.

Our authentic 18th-century farmhouse features a lovely garden with outdoor furniture, and we welcome our guests as friends with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Upstairs, we have three comfortable and cozy non-smoking bedrooms, each tastefully decorated and named after a tree from the Moraceae family. The bedrooms include the White Mulberry room with three beds (90 x 200), the Breadfruit room with one bed (160 x 200), and the Fig tree banyan room with two beds (90 x 200).

Shared facilities include a bathroom with a bath, basin, and toilet, as well as a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Breakfast is included and can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the dining room. We are also happy to accommodate dietary requirements upon request.

On select nights, we offer a host table option with Southern cuisine prepared using fresh seasonal ingredients. Reservation is required for this special dining experience. For other nights, there are several good restaurants in Barjac and the surrounding area, and we can provide recommendations based on your preferences and budget.

We also offer the option of reservation for meal trays.

We provide free WiFi connection and have a library with a fireplace in our period stone salon, where guests can relax by the fire, read a book, or enjoy board games that are available. Linen is provided free of charge, and there is nearby parking available. Please note that we have a small dog in our daily life, so we are unable to accommodate other pets.

From our farmhouse, you can easily reach the market, supermarket, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, and bicycle rental within a few minutes' walk. You can also explore the town of Barjac, which is a small picturesque town with various attractions such as restaurants, fairs, flea markets, attics, libraries, and a castle festival.
