Description for Gite

The hameau of FOUQUIERE is a charming rural retreat nestled in the heart of the picturesque grove Orne in Lower Normandy. This idyllic hamlet showcases the region's rich heritage, with its traditional facades, charming openings, Gadag, fireplaces, and bread ovens, which have evolved over centuries to meet the needs of each generation.

Surrounded by lush orchards, meadows, and woods, the Hamlet Fouquières offers a range of amenities for guests to enjoy. These include a heated pool, an equestrian center, vast acres of land, a magnificent orchard boasting 70 tall apple trees, sunken lanes lined with beautiful hedges, serene ponds, and meadows where horses graze freely (including French saddles, ponies, and walkers).

Within the hamlet, there are five apartments located in a spacious ballroom spanning 160 square meters. This ballroom is available for weekend weddings, and we also offer holiday rentals from Monday to Friday.

One of the accommodations available is THE HOUSE OF FLOWERS, which can comfortably sleep 11 people. It features a fully equipped kitchen, two showers, and two toilets. The rental rates for this house are 700 euros for four nights, 450 euros for two nights, or 300 euros for one night.

THE HOUSES OF HELIANTHE and SQUIRREL are located on top of each other. The first, Hélianthe, includes a living room, kitchenette, two double bedrooms, a bathroom with a washing machine, and a separate toilet. It also boasts a south-facing terrace at the rear.

The second, the squirrel, consists of a dormitory with bunk beds for 10 people, another dormitory for 15 people, two double bedrooms, and two showers and toilets.

Together, these accommodations can host up to thirty people for both partying and sleeping. They are perfect for family gatherings or groups of friends. The rental price for all these accommodations is 600 euros per night or 1500 euros for four nights from Monday to Friday.

THE HOUSE OF FIL ROUGE welcomes guests across three levels. On the ground floor, there is a 30-square-meter dining room-kitchen, fully equipped with a peasant granite flooring and a magnificent fireplace. This level also offers two double beds.

On the first floor, there is a bathroom, a toilet, and a large double bedroom. The second floor features a dormitory with six beds. This accommodation can comfortably accommodate up to ten people and is available for 310 euros per night, 450 euros for two nights, or 750 euros for four nights from Monday to Friday.

THE ROOM OF ETIENNE is a cozy studio spanning 36 square meters. It includes a kitchenette, a bathroom with a toilet, a dining area, a large double bed, and a sofa. This cottage is suitable for two to four people and is available for 110 euros per night, 150 euros for two nights, or 250 euros for four nights.

For guests seeking a more intimate experience, THE COUNTRYS OVEN BREAD offers a charming double room with a separate toilet and shower room. This accommodation is available for 65 euros per night, 110 euros for two nights, or 200 euros for four nights.
