Description:

Description for B&B:

Experience the captivating allure of our family-owned establishment, where our unique charm will envelop you. Allow us to guide you through the expansive premises, showcasing its remarkable architecture, including the horseshoe design and adjoining property, reminiscent of a model farm from the late 19th century.

Our patio holds a rich history, having witnessed the momentous meeting between King George V, President Poincaré, Joffre, and Foch General during the preparations for the decisive Battle of the Somme's counter-offensive. Sir Douglas Haig himself selected Valvion as his headquarters in August 1916, leading to the signing of the pivotal Doullens Sole Command.

For your accommodation needs, we offer a spacious, fully renovated room of 28m² on the first floor of our house. The room can comfortably accommodate 2 or 3 individuals and features an ensuite bathroom with a private shower and separate toilet. Amenities such as plush bedding, TV, WiFi, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and dining area are provided for your convenience. Rest assured, we supply bed linen and towels, and a supplementary bed can be arranged within the same room. Additionally, a crib is available upon request at no extra cost.

With a separate entrance, tranquility and a splendid view await you. Indulge in a complimentary breakfast, which can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the owners' dining room (only on weekends), or if you prefer, in the comfort of your room.

Please note that the nightly rate is €55 for 1 person, €60 for 2 people, and €70 for 3 people. For extended stays of 3 nights or more, a 10% discount per night is applicable. Feel free to request photos of our accommodations.

Directions

To reach Beauquesne, head towards Raincheval on the D31. Once you're out of the village, look for a path on the right, about 1km away, marked by a sign that says "orchards of Valvion." Follow this path until you reach a road, then take a left to enter the courtyard of the large house.

If you're coming from Amiens on the D31, when you reach Puchevillers, continue straight and avoid taking the direction towards Beauquesne. After about 2km, leave the village and take a left. After another 300m, turn left again onto the road with a sign that says "orchards of Valvion." The house is located at the end of this road. Enter the courtyard of the large house.
