Casa Migliaca is located near the northern coast of Sicily, just a short distance from Cefalù. Positioned between the Nebrodi Mountains and Madonie Mountains, the house sits atop a hill, offering breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Nebrodi woods. Built in the 17th century, Casa Migliaca was originally an oil mill. In the early 1990s, it was transformed into accommodations, providing a simple yet welcoming hospitality experience. The atmosphere at Casa Migliaca is relaxed and informal, with communal dinners held at a large round table that was once used to squeeze olives. Breakfast is served without time restrictions, allowing guests to help themselves in the charming ancient kitchen on the first floor. The house offers eight rooms, each with its own unique charm. The rooms on the first floor feature antique furnishings, while those on the ground level retain the original characteristics of the oil mill's service rooms. The preserved artifacts, such as the silted jar, the small palmento, and the chestnut mezzanine, serve as reminders of the building's past functions. Despite their essential size, the bathrooms in each room are functional and maintain the original architectural style and proportions. Surrounding the main building is a 12-hectare active farm that produces olive oil and citrus fruits.
