Our charming stone house, nestled in a 4000 m2 park, offers a truly comfortable and inviting retreat. Relax and unwind in the peaceful surroundings or take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. If you desire, we can also delight your taste buds with our creative and refined meals, prepared with local ingredients.

Allow us to be your hosts and guide you through the wonders of the local countryside. Mireille, our culinary maestro, takes pleasure in combining aromas and flavors, infusing rural products with unique spices and herbs. She will treat you to generous and gastronomic meals, accompanied by homemade jams and aperitifs.

In addition to her culinary expertise, Mireille also has a passion for holistic healing and is knowledgeable in Bach Flower Remedies and reiki practices. She will gladly offer guidance and advice in these areas.

Vincent, an accomplished artist painter, is the mastermind behind the house's captivating decor. From wall frescoes to an Egyptian temple-inspired creation and even an illusion of the house's cat entering a room through an open door, his artistic touch adds a touch of magic to your surroundings.

Dans un cadre très agréable, l'accueil de Mireille et Vincent fut chaleureux et sincère.
La chambre, dans un décor Egyptien aux tonalités douces et harmonieuses, était très spacieuse et tout à fait propice à la détente.
Enfin, le petit déjeuner, servi en plein air, fut la conclusion parfaite de ce week end aux "Basses Portes" : à la fois simple et savoureux !
Nous avons passé un très bon moment, tout à fait à notre goût. Merci à Mireille et Vincent !

Nous avons découvert les Basses Portes sous le soleil. Le lieu est charmant : un beau jardin arboré, des espaces invitant à la détente. La chambre était très confortable. Et surtout, l'accueil réservé par Mireille et Vincent est particulièrement attentionné et chaleureux. Nous avons testé la tâble d'hôte et les petits déjeuner, tout cela de très bonne qualité. Une belle adresse !!

C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons dans cette chambre d'hôtes....A 9 ans d'intervalles...Et nous sommes toujours autant satisfait!!!!! Super adresse!!! Propriétaires charmants!!!! Calme absolu!!!! A faire et à refaire!!!

Nous avons réuni enfants et petits enfants pour un w-e dans cette charmante maison où nous avons été accueillis merveilleusement.Chaque génération a trouvé sa place dans ce site que ns remplissions à 15.
Nous avons trouvé dans les alentours de quoi distraire chacun. Excellent souvenir pour tous !

Tout est enchantement dans cette maison d'hotes, le décoration intérieure toute en couleurs du maitre des lieux qui est peintre, la batisse, le parc juste sauvage comme il faut. En plus, et ca ne gate vraiment rien, on y mange super bien et l'accueil est vraiment sympa. Allez y les yeux fermés, ou plutot grands ouverts parce qu'en plus, il y a plein debeaux endroits à voir aux alentours.

1. Take the A 40 Motorway towards Bourg-en-Bresse.
2. Then take the A 42 Motorway towards Lyon.
3. Exit the A 42 Motorway at Ambérieu en Bugey (Exit n°8).
4. After the toll, turn left towards GRENOBLE - CHAMBÉRY.
5. At the roundabout, turn right towards GRENOBLE.
6. At the second roundabout, follow the signs for LAGNIEU (D1075).
7. Follow the signs for LAGNIEU.
8. At the roundabout, take the direction N75 – GRENOBLE- MONTALIEU - CRÉMIEU.
9. After crossing the bridge, turn right towards CRÉMIEU - La BALME Les GROTTES.
10. After approximately 2-3km past La BALME-Les GROTTES.
11. Look for the road sign "CHAMBRES D’HÔTES LES BASSES PORTES" on the left.
12. Immediately after the sign, turn right towards St-BAUDILLE.
13. Once in Torjonas, follow the road signs for "CHAMBRES D’HÔTES LES BASSES PORTES".

From the South and the East:
1. In Valence, follow the motorway towards Grenoble, then take the motorway towards Lyon before reaching Grenoble.
2. Exit the motorway at the "L’Isle d’Abeau- centre" exit.
3. Just after the toll, at the first roundabout, turn left towards Morestel.
4. At the second roundabout, turn left towards MORESTEL-CRÉMIEU.
5. Continue in the direction of MORESTEL-CRÉMIEU at the 3rd, 4th, and 5th roundabouts.
6. At the 6th roundabout, follow the signs for TREPT, BOURG EN BRESSE.
7. After approximately 2-3km past the roundabout, turn left towards TREPT (D54).
8. In Trept, turn right after the stop sign, and then left just after the church towards CARISIEU – SICCIEU.
9. Follow the signs for COZANCE, CARISIEU, SICCIEU, OPTEVOZ.
10. After a few kilometers past Optevoz, on a sloping stretch down the road, turn left at the La Plaine hamlet towards St-BAUDILLE, TORJONAS.
11. After approximately 3km past St-BAUDILLE, once in Torjonas, follow the road signs for "CHAMBRES D’HÔTES LES BASSES PORTES".
