Gîte La Tonnelle is a delightful countryside retreat nestled in the enchanting town of SAINT SATURNIN LES APT in the heart of the Luberon region of Provence. This cozy cottage offers complete independence, as it is a separate structure adjoining the owners' house, which is no longer occupied. Designed for two people, with the possibility of accommodating a baby, the cottage provides complimentary baby equipment upon request. The comfortable 160 cm bed comes with complimentary sheets, and the bed is made upon your arrival. Enjoy the convenience of free WI-FI access during your stay. Please note that this lodging is exclusively for overnight accommodations and does not offer guest room services.

Description for Gite

Welcome to our small country cottage in the charming town of Saint Saturnin Les Apt, located in the heart of the Luberon in Provence. This completely independent cottage is attached to the owner's house, which is no longer in use.

Perfect for a couple, the cottage can also accommodate a baby, and we provide baby equipment free of charge upon request. Stay connected with free Wi-Fi access throughout your stay. Our cottage has been classified as a 2-star furnished tourism accommodation.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4-burner gas stove and oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, vacuum cleaner, and a flat-screen TV. We provide a complete kitchen set for your convenience.

The bedroom features a comfortable 160 cm bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a small chest of drawers, an armchair, and a storage cupboard. The bed is made for you upon arrival. There is also a small relaxation room with two Scandinavian armchairs, a coffee table, and a small storage unit with decorative items. A stand fan is available for your comfort.

The bathroom includes a shower and basin, and there is a separate toilet for your privacy.

Step outside onto the outdoor terrace, where you can enjoy the garden furniture under a beautiful green arbor with views of the vineyards. A barbecue and bath loungers are provided for your relaxation. There is also a carport for your convenience.

If you are traveling with a baby, we offer a complimentary baby cot upon request.

The cottage is located 1.5 km from the village, where you will find all the necessary shops. Many hiking and biking trails start right from the cottage, and there are numerous tourist sites to explore nearby.

For your convenience, here are our prices for 2022 per week:
- May: 296 euros
- June-September: 316 euros
- July-August: 376 euros

The tourist tax is already included in the price. Upon arrival, a refundable deposit of 100 euros is required, which will be returned on the day of departure if no damages are observed.

Optional services include towel rental at 5 euros per person and a compulsory end-of-stay cleaning service for 40 euros. Please note that pets are not allowed.

We also offer a deposit refund in case of COVID-19, subject to conditions agreed upon with the owner.

Directions

Directions to get to Gite La Tonnelle:
1. Take exit n° 24 (Châteaurenard, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Apt) from the A7 motorway.
2. Turn right towards (Airport, Avignon, Apt, and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue).
3. At the roundabout, turn left onto the D900 towards (Caumont, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Apt).
4. Continue on the D900 and at the roundabout, take the direction (Dignes, Coustellet, Apt, Gordes).
5. When you reach Coustellet, there are two possible itineraries.
- Itinerary n°1: Route d'Apt
- At Coustellet, continue straight on the D900 towards Apt at the crossroads.
- Pass through Beaumettes and Lights.
- When you reach the entrance of Apt, turn left at the roundabout of the shopping center E-LECLERC.
- Take the D943 "Avenue du Viaduc" towards Saint Saturnin les Apt and cross the village.
- At the end of the village, turn left onto the D2 "Route de Roussillon" towards Cavaillon, Gordes, and Roussillon.
- After 1.2 km, turn right in front of a house with large cedars and an oratory at the entrance.
- Pass to your left, the domain of the Andes, and make a 50-meter drive before turning right on a small path to reach the bastide.
- Itinerary n°2: Route de Gordes
- At Coustellet, turn left on the D2 towards the Imberts at the crossroads.
- Continue on the D2 towards Gordes and at the roundabout, go straight ahead (do not climb in the village of Gordes).
- Follow the directions for Joucas, La Tuilière, and Saint Saturnin les Apt.
- Before reaching Joucas, leave the town on the left and continue straight to La Tuilière and Saint Saturnin les Apt.
- Cross the hamlet of La Tuilière and continue on the D2 for 4 km.
- Pass the hamlet of the Bellots and after 100 meters, turn on the second small road on the left to access Gite La Tonnelle.
