Description for B&B:

Welcome to our guest house with a pool, nestled among the olive trees in Balagne.

If you're looking to explore Balagne while being close to Calvi and the red island, Calenzana is the perfect compromise. Just 15 minutes away from Calvi and 25 minutes from Ile Rousse, you can easily wander the streets of Calvi and its citadel, bask in the sun on the beaches of Calvi Bay (only 10 minutes away), or venture a few kilometers to discover paradisiacal beaches with white sand and turquoise waters, such as Ghjunchitu, Bodri, Ostriconi, and Lozari near the red island.

However, if you prefer a peaceful retreat, our property offers a serene atmosphere where you can relax by the pool or on your private terrace.

We have two spacious double rooms, each with a 30 m2 surface area, a bathroom, and a toilet, accommodating up to 3 people. Both rooms feature a 180/200 double bed, a convertible single bed, a large flat-screen TV, and wifi. You can also enjoy a 15 m2 terrace with private garden furniture.

There is a dedicated space for our guests, including a lounge area, board games, table football, a dining table, and a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave. Outdoor activities such as petanque, a swing, and a slide are also available.

The pool is equipped with a security system, including an audible alarm and a gate for access. In the morning, a delicious breakfast awaits you under the pergola by the pool, offering a view of the villages and mountains. In case of bad weather, breakfast will be served in the Pool House. Throughout the day, you can access the Pool House to prepare coffee or tea.

Calenzana is not only known as the starting point of the GR 20 long-distance trail and the Mare e Monti trail in Corsica but also for its rich heritage and history. You can explore the village with its charming church and bell tower, as well as the main square where 500 German soldiers were buried under the steeple. Don't miss the Chapel of the Holy Restitude, where a sarcophagus from the 4th century was discovered under the altar in 1951. Additionally, you will be in close proximity to other picturesque villages like Montemaggiore and Sant'Antonino, classified as some of the most beautiful villages in France. Make sure to visit the ghost village of Oporto, which offers breathtaking views of Calvi Bay and the marina of Sant Ambrogio. You can reach it via a small path from the village of Lumio.

Our privileged location also grants you access to a multitude of activities offered in our region, including water sports, diving, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, 4x4 excursions, sea trips, and much more.
