Welcome to the Ocher House, a haven for artists and a hub of cultural activities. Located amidst the serene countryside, this recently renovated old barn is nestled between Toulouse and Carcassonne, just 6 km away from Fanjeaux in the heart of the Cathar country.

Dominique, a talented harpist and pianist, and Ismael, an artist-painter and guitarist, invite you to immerse yourself in their world of creativity. At the Ocher House, we organize painting and music workshops all year round. You can join the pre-scheduled activities, request a personalized program, or simply have a wonderful time. We offer two guest rooms with independent access, ensuring your privacy. As our guest, you will have the exclusive privilege of enjoying a beautiful garden. The spacious and comfortable rooms are located on the upper floor and feature a 160 cm bed (or two 80 cm beds) with an additional 90 cm bed if desired.

Breakfast can be served in the cozy kitchen dining room or on the terrace, allowing you to savor the delightful weather. In addition to the traditional breakfast fare, we offer locally sourced products such as cheese and honey. Restaurants and shops are conveniently located just 6 km away.

Situated in a tranquil hamlet, our house is ideal for hikers and cyclists seeking a peaceful retreat. You can explore the nearby medieval cities of Carcassonne, Fanjeaux, and Mirepoix. And if you're longing for a day at the Mediterranean, it's just an hour's drive via the motorway.

Super séjour dans une maison rénovée par les propriétaires, atypique et intéressante. La musique et l'art sont omniprésents. Les pièces rayonnent de soleil, jolie chambre, bonne literie et le calme absolu. Bon petit déjeuner et les propriétaires sont très accueillants
