Welcome to our charming 3-star furnished Gîte "On the Edge of the Cher" located in the heart of the historic center of Saint Aignan. Just a 4-minute drive from the famous Beauval Zoo, our Gîte is perfect for a short stay to visit the zoo or spend a few days exploring the beautiful Loire Valley and its castles.

With a spacious surface area of 78m2, our Gîte can accommodate up to 5 people comfortably. We also provide an extra bed for a child and a cot, free of charge upon request.

The layout of our Gîte includes an entrance with a staircase, a charming lounge decorated in colonial red and grey tones, with a lounge area equipped with a TV and DVD player, as well as a dining table. The fully equipped kitchen features an induction plate, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, Senseo coffee machine (pods supplied), and all necessary kitchen utensils. Please note that only frying cooking is prohibited.

For your convenience, we have a patio/laundry room equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and a separate toilet.

The Gîte offers two independent rooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a single bed (140 x 190), while the secondary room is equipped with a bunk bed suitable for a child's room (90 x 190 + 140 x 190) or a maximum of 3 persons. The bathroom on the floor includes a shower, hanging toilet, and a comfort white satin washbasin.

Upon arrival, we require a deposit of €200, which can be paid by check. There is also a visitor's tax of €0.88 per adult, while minors are exempt.

We offer additional services such as bed linen and bath towel rental/washing and set up for €5 per person, as well as a €40 household package.

In addition to the comfortable amenities provided by our Gîte, Saint Aignan itself offers a rich history and picturesque surroundings. Explore the medieval city with its winding and cobbled streets, admire the 12th-century collegiate church and its crypt with pictorial frescoes. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking view from the Château de Saint Aignan, take memorable pictures, and relax by the Cher River. There are also plenty of shops nearby, including restaurants, a bakery (perfect for breakfast), a bank, tobacco shop, cinema, grocery store, and charming terraces.
