In addition, guests have access to a large lounge with a diverse library in English, French, and German, a hall filled with tourist information, and a private entry and garden.

After a restful night's sleep surrounded by nature, indulge in a delicious breakfast featuring homemade treats and enjoy the view of the park from the lounge. In the afternoon, take advantage of the tranquil surroundings of Joreau to unwind with a book, sample fruits from the orchard, or relax in a hammock beneath the shade of an old tree. For dinner, choose from the delightful restaurants nearby or stay in and enjoy a gourmet meal with wine and coffee, available upon request, or utilize our basic kitchen facilities in the lounge.

Our ensuite rooms, "Cremant de Loire" (one double, one twin), provide the perfect space for a relaxed family vacation, while "Saumur Champigny" offers ample room (26 m²) to make you feel at home. The comfortable beds, measuring 0.90 x 1.90 m, can be arranged as one king size bed or two singles, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Adorned with tasteful decorations, including an antique wardrobe and two armchairs, both rooms provide a cozy atmosphere. The private bathroom with a separate toilet has recently been renovated for your comfort.

Located in the picturesque village of Gennes, on the outskirts of the Loire, The Farm of Joreau offers a delightful blend of modern comfort and traditional architecture. With its charming touches like touffe stone, slate, terra cotta tiles, old wood parquet, and ceiling, this 72 m² house can accommodate 4-5 people.

Completely renovated in May 2006, this cozy farmhouse boasts a spacious south-facing terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue, perfect for outdoor dining. Additionally, you'll have access to a private 800 m² garden with stunning views of the surrounding woods. While your kids play in the sandbox or swing, you can unwind with a glass of wine in this tranquil setting.

Step inside to find a welcoming living room with a fireplace on the ground floor. Adjacent to the living room, you'll discover a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, under the charming roof, there are two bedrooms (one double bed measuring 160*200 cm and one twin bed measuring 80*200 cm) and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Rest assured, the beds will be prepared upon your arrival. If you're traveling with a baby, a cot and chair can be provided upon request. Additionally, firewood is provided free of charge.

Conveniently located just 15 km (<10 miles) from Saumur and Doué-la-Fontaine, and 30 km (<20 miles) from Angers, Gennes offers easy access to shopping facilities, which are less than 1 km (0.5 miles) from the gîte and open seven days a week.
