Located in the remote countryside, this 18th century former farmhouse offers a tranquil and independent retreat for up to 6 adults. Situated 12 km from Pompadour in the picturesque Vézère valley, this charming property is conveniently located at the convergence of the Limousin, Périgord, and Quercy regions. Nestled within the peaceful surroundings of a farmland property, the farmhouse is accessible via a small dead-end drive and is located 200 m away from both the cow farm and the owners' residence.

This sun-soaked farmhouse is enveloped by a picturesque landscape, featuring expansive meadows and enchanting woodlands. The vast garden, spanning 2000 m2, is securely fenced with sheep wire net and wooden bars. The living space, totaling 115 m2, is all conveniently situated on the garden level. It comprises a spacious living room (38 m2) adorned with exposed stone and beam ceilings, a sofa-bed for two, and a traditional fireplace known as a "cantou." Additionally, there is a comfortable double room (14 m2) with two 80cm beds, a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area (27 m2), another double room (13 m2) with a 140cm bed, a cozy double room (10 m2) with two 80cm beds, a bathroom featuring a bath and basin, a separate shower room with a shower and basin, a corridor, and an independent toilet.

Directions

To get to the Gîte, follow these travel directions:

1. Take the A20 from Paris towards Toulouse.
2. Take Exit 45 towards Tulle and Vigeois.
3. Follow road D3 towards Vigeois, following the signs for the tourist road "circuit de la vallée de la Vézère."
4. Continue on D3 for approximately 8 km towards Objat.
5. Once you reach Vigeois, follow the tourist road for another 8 km on D3 towards Objat.
6. Look for the hamlet called "Les Fombiardes" and turn right onto the road indicated as "Les Chaises Basses" after 500 m.
7. The Gîte will be located 500 m further down this road on the left.
