Description:

Description for B&B:

Véronique and Jean Pierre Duleux have chosen to settle in the magnificent Domaine de la Carrère, a historic residence dating back to the 17th century. This enchanting property, once inhabited by noble figures, merchants, and traders, was constructed during the reign of Louis XIV, known as the Sun King or le Roi-Soleil. Located in Arthez-de-Béarn, in the Pyrénées Atlantique region, Domaine de la Carrère is perfectly situated between the majestic mountains and the sparkling sea.

The residence is conveniently located near various iconic destinations. The vibrant city of PAU, known as la Cité d'Henri IV, which beautifully embodies the essence of French culture, dynamism, and beauty, is a mere 20 minutes away. The glamorous town of BIARRITZ can be reached within 40 minutes, offering a glitzy coastal experience. The majestic PYRENEES mountains and the enchanting country of SPAIN are within an hour's drive. Additionally, the charming town of ORTHEZ is just a short 10-minute journey away.

Our photos showcase two typical, spacious bedroom suites complete with dressing rooms. The rooms offer the flexibility of either two 4-ft single beds or an antique double bed, accompanied by an en-suite large shower room. The shower room is equipped with a powerful shower, a double sink unit, a toilet, a hair dryer, dressing gowns, and toiletries. For your convenience, we provide tea and coffee facilities, as well as a television.

Should you desire an exceptional dining experience, we offer a high-quality Table d'hôtes dinner upon request. This includes an apéritif, a starter, a main course, a sweet treat, wine, and coffee. We strive to ensure your utmost satisfaction and comfort throughout your stay. Véronique and Jean Pierre warmly welcome you to their home, where they will make you feel at home while respecting your privacy.
