Description:

Description for B&B:

This private house offers comfortable B&B nightly rate rooms, combining the convenience of a Guest House with the affordability of a hostel. With three rooms available in a traditional terrace, and two bathrooms, this accommodation boasts a rustic charm with modern amenities that appeal to modern musical, artistic, and academic individuals. Situated on a quiet road in a lively area, guests will find themselves surrounded by numerous cafes and restaurants. Additionally, this location offers easy access to the city center and all airports, as it is located in Finsbury Park Tube zone 2.

The rooms are not ensuite, but gowns and towels are provided. One of the rooms has a bathroom located right next door. It is important to note that guests are required to be out of the accommodation between the hours of 10am and 5:00pm each day due to insurance purposes. However, this arrangement allows for convenient access to and sightseeing in zones 1 and 2.

Directions

Travel Directions:

To reach the airports, you can take the Victoria/Picadilly Lines tube, which is the same line for Stanstead, Gatwick, and Heathrow Airports. Alternatively, you can go to the main station arrivals. Most airports are approximately 1 hour away, with Stanstead, Luton, and Heathrow being the most direct options. From Stanstead airport, take the Liverpool Street train and get off at Seven Sisters/Tottenham Hale Tube. Finsbury Park is only 1 or 2 stops away from there. From Heathrow, take the Picadilly Line, and from Gatwick, take the Victoria Line to reach the nearest tube station, which is Finsbury Park. It takes around 20 minutes to reach the city center from Finsbury Park via tube. After that, take the W7 bus for an additional 5-10 minutes to reach my home. My tube stop is Finsbury Park, which is in zone 2, while the bus is in zone 3. If you prefer a cheaper option, consider getting a Travel Card. When you arrive at Finsbury Park, go upstairs and turn right to reach the back of the station where the buses are located. Wait for the W7 bus at the main road, and once you board, ask the driver for Holly Park. It takes around 5-10 minutes, or approximately 3-4 stops, to reach the bottom of the hill. From there, go back one road, and you will find my home halfway down on the left with a light purple door. If you prefer a minicab, you can contact Hercules at 0207 272 6666, or there is a minicab office near the W7 bus stop. The cost for a minicab to the airports is approximately £40-£50, and it may be cheaper than taking the trains, especially if you have more than one person traveling. Currently, parking is free between 5pm and 9.45am on weekdays. If you plan to leave your car between 10am and 2pm and not stay overnight, please request vouchers as there will be a charge of £5 per session. Additionally, I recommend investigating the London Pass on londonpass.com for cheaper travel and entrance to various sites. You can also arrange an Oyster Card in advance for convenient travel.
