Remarkably, Le Mas de Salel has been mentioned as a farm affiliated with the renowned Sylvanès abbey since the 12th century.

Directions

To get to Le mas de Salel from Calais, you will need to take the A26 motorway towards Paris. Continue on the motorway until you reach Paris-Est, where you will need to switch to the A1 and then A3 motorways. Follow the signs for Peripherique Sud and take the exit for Bordeaux and then Clermont Ferrand. Once in Clermont Ferrand, follow the signs for Montpellier.

Once you pass the Millau viaduct, take the exit number 48 for Cornus. Drive through Cornus, Fondamente, St Maurice, and Latour. As you approach St Félix, take a left turn towards Montagnol, which is approximately 8 kilometers away. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating Le mas de Salel, which will be located 400 meters before the village on the left-hand side.

If you are coming from Brussels, make your way to Montpellier and then take the A9 motorway. Take exit number 31 towards Millau. Pass through Lodève and Caylar, and then take exit number 48 for Cornus. Drive through Cornus, Fondamente, St Maurice, and Latour. As you approach St Félix, take a left turn towards Montagnol, which is approximately 8 kilometers away. Look for the sign indicating Le mas de Salel, which will be located 400 meters before the village on the left-hand side.
