Description for B&B:

Located on the first floor, this room features a high ceiling and ample space measuring 23 m². It is furnished with two comfortable single beds that can be combined into a double bed, offering a variety of pillow options for your comfort. Unwind in the large and modern private bathroom, complete with a double marble basin, corner bath, and WC. Guests are also welcome to use the dining room and reception room on the ground floor. For secure bike storage, there is a bike park available in the cellar. Please note that the second floor is reserved for the owners' accommodation.

Our medieval stone townhouse spans three levels and is situated in the heart of a historic village, nestled at the foot of the Alpilles. While we do not have a garden or swimming pool, we provide everything necessary for a peaceful and comfortable night's stay, along with a satisfying breakfast to start your day.

Indulge in a substantial breakfast, including freshly squeezed orange juice, tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Enjoy French bread, croissants, butter, jams, honey, and more. We offer two breakfast options: a generous breakfast included in the fixed B&B price, featuring a selection of cheeses and cold meats, or an English breakfast available for an additional charge of 6 euros per person, consisting of 2 fried eggs, fried tomato, sausage, bacon, and baked beans. Special requests can be accommodated upon request.

Surrounding our property, you'll find a range of activities to suit your preferences. Whether you're interested in biking up Mont Ventoux, exploring the charming perched villages of the Luberon for an aperitif, or climbing the cliffs of the Alpilles just a short distance away, there is something for everyone. Nearby amenities include a supermarket (700 m), a fruit and vegetable stand with a bakery (350 m), a delicious restaurant (270 m), a renowned climbing site (2 km), and opportunities for swimming, water skiing, hiking, tennis, and horse riding. Golf courses and sandy beaches are also within reachable distances. Additionally, there are dedicated cycle paths, including two converted railway lines nearby, one spanning 12 km and the other, Eurovélo 8, covering 40 km. Bike rental is available in Cavaillon, just 7 km away.

Transportation is convenient with our town having its own train station, offering around six daily services to Marseille and Avignon. If you are arriving by car, we recommend parking just outside the city walls and walking a short distance. For cyclists, we provide storage facilities inside the house, including bike racks or the secure cellar.

During your stay, you can expect a balance of privacy and interaction. We reside on the second floor but primarily reserve the rest of the house for our guests. While we respect your privacy, we are also available for friendly conversations and to provide any assistance or recommendations you may need.

Appréciations pour La Bégude Des Alpilles, Orgon:

Etapes reposante
Review by: Ferretti, Sep 8 2022 9:35AM
Nous avons fait une belle étape très reposante au début de notre périple. La maison est très agréable et la chambre très calme.
Nous en ferons une autre au retour car les échanges avec ce charmant couple sont très enrichissants.

Directions

To reach the village, head towards it from the Avignon, Cavaillon direction. When you reach the noticeable roundabout on the village's western side, take the main road D7N downwards towards the village. After traveling for 500 m, do not turn left at the bend, instead, keep going straight for another 150 m until you reach a mini-roundabout. At the mini-roundabout, take a left turn and drive under the portico. Look out for a flowery facade on the left side of the road, around 30 m ahead.
