Description:

Description for B&B:

The town of Die, situated in the Regional Park of Vercors, is a small and nature-filled sub-prefecture offering all the expected services. With its narrow, intertwined streets and Provencal character, Die combines a rich archaeological and religious heritage. The surrounding landscape consists of foothills that open up to the plain of the Drôme, with clean water and wild riverbanks perfect for swimming, kayaking, napping, and picnics. To the north, the magnificent cliffs of Glandasse rise to 2000 meters, hinting at the high plateaus of Vercors. Numerous walks start from the Tourist Office, and professionals offer mountain climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, vulture discovery, flora exploration, and more. One of the city's charms is its market, held twice a week, where small local producers sell excellent organic products such as fruits, vegetables, trout, Turkeys, Diois lambs, gossips and ham from Square Peak, cheeses, honeys, jams, and homemade ravioli. Additionally, in the second half of June, transhumant shepherds and their flocks pass through the town, making their way to the pastures of the plateau via the market.
