Description for B&B:

The Clos underwent a tasteful renovation in winter 2021, while maintaining its elegant character and original features such as high ceilings, glass panelled doors, carved marble fireplaces, antique parquet floors, period cast iron radiators, and a stunning spiral staircase.

There are two delightful suites on the ground floor, while the first floor offers a spacious lounge, a French billiard table, a library, and a beautiful bright breakfast room with a large terrace that overlooks the garden and pool. On the second floor, there are two more suites.

Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 10am in the breakfast room or, weather permitting, on the terrace. Guests can indulge in a wide selection of fresh local breads and pastries, cheeses, gluten-free cereals, honey, fresh fruit juice, homemade jams, and fresh fruits.

Our four spacious suites (45 to 50 sqm) are chic and elegantly furnished in a refined French style. Each suite has its own unique atmosphere and offers all the amenities guests could desire, including a separate sitting room, king or queen beds, an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and double vanity unit, a separate toilet, free WiFi, and a flat-screen satellite TV.

Situated in the heart of Bergerac, a city of art and history in the renowned Dordogne region, the Clos d'Argenson is nestled in a lush garden and exudes the charm of a privately-owned home. Its superb location allows for easy access to Bordeaux, St Emilion, Sarlat, and Perigueux, making it an ideal destination for combining sightseeing, leisure, and relaxation.
