Description for B&B:

La Grande Lauzade is a historic property in Provence, France that dates back to the 18th century. It was built on the grounds of a former monastery, which has ancient origins dating back to Roman times. The original monastery, renowned in the region, was unfortunately destroyed during the French Revolution and subsequently sold as a national property. However, the current house was constructed using the original stones and foundations, preserving its rich history.

Today, La Grande Lauzade operates as a charming guest house and wine estate. Surrounded by vineyards that still produce the renowned Lauzade wine, guests have access to various levels of gardens for their enjoyment. The pool deck, shaded by beautiful "platane" trees, features a 6-person jacuzzi and is just a few steps down from the terrace. Additionally, the lower garden offers the cooling shade of a large cedar tree.

Inside the house, guests have access to a fitness room equipped with a power plate and sauna, as well as a billiard lounge for entertainment. An impressive indoor heated pool can be found in the basement, adding to the unique features of this property.

Located in the picturesque region of Provence, in the South of France, La Grande Lauzade is nestled near the stunning and protected landscape of "la plaine des Maures" and is also conveniently close to the French Riviera and the scenic wilderness of "le haut Var".
