Description:

Description for Gite

"Welcome to 'Le Vieil Aiglun', a historic village dating back to the 16th century. Nestled atop the picturesque Haute Provence at an elevation of 2,540 ft, this enchanting destination offers breathtaking panoramic views of Provence, the Alps, and the Verdon area. Once abandoned by its inhabitants in the early 20th century, we decided to restore the remaining habitable buildings in 2002, transforming them into delightful and comfortable self-catering houses, awarded with 3 and 4 stars. Situated in a serene location between Provence and the Alps, 'Le Vieil Aiglun' provides tranquility while still being close to a charming town offering a range of shops and restaurants. Our guests have exclusive access to a spacious swimming pool (13 x 6 sqm) and a beautiful garden with stunning vistas of the surrounding fields and the illuminated ancient Roman church at night. The garden is adorned with ample seating, including chairs, armchairs, and hammocks, creating the perfect ambiance for reading a book or simply appreciating the breathtaking panoramas. We are delighted to welcome you to 'Le Vieil Aiglun'!"
