Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area through various activities such as fishing, climbing, mountain biking, canyoning, and invigorating swims. Tennis, kayaking, and hiking are also popular options for outdoor enthusiasts.

The comfortable cottage on the ground floor accommodates up to four people. It features a bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds, and a living room with a sofa bed and a television. The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and oven. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink, and toilet. Pets are welcome with prior arrangement for an additional fee of 15 Euros.

We offer breakfast and picnic reservation services for your convenience during your excursions.

Welcome to "The Volcano of Aizac", a charming rural getaway labeled "Fleurs de soleil". Immerse yourself in tranquility and nature as you stay in this cozy country cottage situated 640 meters above sea level in the heart of the Cévennes and Ardèche Regional Nature Park of the Monts d'Ardèche. Located in the small village of Aizac, surrounded by chestnut trees, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the Volane valleys to the East and Besorgues valleys to the West from Aizac Pass.

Embark on numerous hiking trails that will lead you to explore the area of the young volcanoes of Ardèche, with a particular highlight being the Cup of Volcano Aizac, which offers panoramic views of the village and the surrounding landscape that has been shaped over 80,000 years. Outdoor enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to engage in activities such as fishing, climbing, mountain biking, canyoning, swimming, tennis, kayaking, and of course, hiking.

The comfortable ground floor cottage can accommodate 2 to 6 guests. It features a bedroom with a double bed and two single bunk beds, a living room with a seating area (including a double sofa bed and TV), and a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and more. The cottage also includes a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, as well as a terrace for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Pets are welcome to join you on your stay.

For your convenience, we offer breakfast service and the option to reserve a picnic for your hiking adventures. The rates for the cottage are as follows:

Directions

To get to Vals les Bains, which is located 10 km north of Aubenas, follow the directions towards "The Cheylard" and "Antraigues Volane." When you reach the end of Vals les Bains, avoid taking the D 243 road on the left, which leads to Aizac. Instead, continue on the D 578 road, which will take you through the scenic Volane valley. Along the way, you may notice some impressive basaltic flows from the Aizac volcano. After passing through several hamlets, you will reach the village of Antraigues. Keep this picturesque village on your right and take the first left turn towards Aizac. This road will lead you to the Col d'Aizac, which sits at an altitude of 642 m and offers a stunning view.
