Description for B&B:

Located between the Medieval bastion of Mirepoix and the fortified village of Camon, just beneath the majestic Château de Lagarde, you will find Sibra, an ancient farmer complex that has been lovingly restored to meet modern comfort standards. Within this enchanting setting, our guesthouse, 'Mi-René', awaits to offer you a delightful holiday or mini-break all year round.

Mirepoix itself is a charming little town, especially during the summer when it becomes a car-free haven. This allows visitors to fully appreciate the historic arcades, inviting terraces, and picturesque squares. One of the highlights is the vibrant market that takes place every Monday, an event that should not be missed as it attracts numerous people seeking enjoyment.

Situated only a few kilometers away from Mirepoix, Sibra is home to our guesthouse, Mi-René, where we will accommodate you so that you can fully immerse yourself in the wonders of this beautiful region.

Your friendly host, René Vanden Avenne, is there to ensure your comfort, and he is assisted by Rose-Mary, his devoted part-time assistant and the love of his life.

Directions

Upon reaching Mirepoix, continue in any direction until you exit the town. Then, proceed towards Lavelanet for a short distance. When you reach the entrance of La Bastide de Bousignac, make a left turn towards Chalabre, Camon, and Château de Lagarde. Stay on this road until you encounter a sharp right turn. At this point, bypass Lagarde by keeping it on your left and instead, take the D307 road a few hundred yards to the right. From here, Sibra will come into view, indicating that you are nearing your destination. Take the first small road on the left, which is marked with a sign indicating SIBRA. Continue on this road until you reach our gate and the guesthouse Mi-René.
