Description for B&B:

Come and relax in the beautiful region of Sud-Goëlo, known for its stunning sandy beaches and enjoyable outings by the sea. Explore the custom coastal pathways of GR34 or venture inland to discover the rugged landscapes and rich coastal history of authentic Brittany. Our welcoming Anglo-French family is well-traveled and ready to accommodate you in our double, triple rooms, or family suites that can accommodate up to 6 people. Each room offers a small lounge area, television, and Wi-Fi access. In total, we have 3 family suites or 6 rooms, providing accommodation for approximately 15 people.

Our Pierre Loti Suite consists of two large rooms, La Bleue and La Rose, which can accommodate up to 6 people. These rooms share a spacious modern shower room. You can book them together as a family suite or, if only one room is booked, the other room remains unoccupied, ensuring the private use of the bathroom under one booking.

We also have the Maisonnette, a two-room suite called Nid d'Amour, which can accommodate up to 5 people. The upstairs bedroom features a large double bed and a single bed, while the downstairs lounge can be converted into a comfortable double bedroom with a double mattress and memory topper. This suite has a modern shower bathroom on the ground floor, allowing easy access without stairs. It has its own private entrance and a table with chairs in our courtyard garden for outdoor relaxation.

For smaller groups, we offer the Rousseau-La Perouse family suite, consisting of a double bedroom called La Chambre Verte and another bedroom called La Chambre Marine with a large double bed and a TV. These rooms share a functional private bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Located on the second floor, this suite provides privacy for families, friends, or couples booking only one room.

Our guesthouse is popular among tourists, business travelers, and walkers or cyclists taking breaks along the GR34 or the coast. We also frequently accommodate large groups booking multiple rooms at once.

In the low season, prices start from 55 euros for one person, 65 euros for a couple, 75 euros for three people sharing a room, and 85 euros per night for the two-room suite/maisonnette, including breakfast. Please inquire or refer to our price table for rates during mid or high seasons. We offer evening meals for guests to enjoy Breton, French, or international cuisine together, with menus ranging from 15 to 35 euros per person, including drinks. We often use organic fruits or vegetables from our garden, as well as local produce. Upon request and availability, guests can use our family kitchen for occasional meals or enjoy the tea/coffee facilities in the guest rooms. Additionally, we provide a fully equipped summer kitchen in our large garden, complete with fridges for each suite/room, a gas cooker/oven, microwave, and a gas BBQ.

To summarize, our accommodations include:
- Chambre Rose: double or triple room with a large double bed (1.7 x 2m) and a single bed
- Chambre Bleue: double or triple room with a double bed (1.4 x 2m)
- Maisonnette (ground floor): double room with a double bed (1.4 x 2m) or as a lounge
- Maisonnette (top floor): double or triple room with a double bed (1.60 x 2m) and a single bed
- Chambre Verte: room with 2 or 3 single beds (0.90 x 2m)

Our charming south-facing walled courtyard garden is filled with beautiful plants such as roses, lavenders, hydrangeas, wisteria, and herbs. Guests are invited to enjoy their breakfast al fresco on warm days. Our large private garden offers sunbeds and various dining areas, including a long table for up to 12-15 people with a BBQ area. Relaxation areas with seating, a ping-pong table, outdoor games, and a wooden swing for children are also available near our vegetable plot. Our entertaining sheep, hens, and two friendly cats add to the atmosphere.

Our guesthouse is conveniently located approximately 400m from the village center, a 15-minute walk (900m) to the nearest beach and the famous GR34 coastal path. Several other sandy beaches are just a short 2-5 minute drive away. Throughout the year, the local area hosts numerous tourist activities and traditional festivals, showcasing specialties such as scallops, cod, chestnuts, Breton dancing, sailors songs, and Celtic music. Explore the wonderful holiday opportunities between land and sea, surrounded by nature and the rich cultural heritage of Brittany.

We are also situated between two other attractive regions of North Brittany, the Emerald coast and the Pink Granite coast, which are approximately 25-45 minutes away by car. Interesting towns like Rennes or Saint Malo are just 1.15 hours away, while Mont Saint Michel is 1.30 hours away. In addition, our region of Goelo is filled with charming seaside towns and villages such as Paimpol, Plouha, Pordic, Binic, and Saint Quay Portrieux, all located nearby. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the lovely Island of Bréhat, the first registered national heritage natural site in France, accessible by boat from either Binic or Saint Quay Portrieux, both close to our home.

Feel free to contact us for special seasonal offers or discounts for longer stays. We wish you a wonderful holiday and hope to see you soon.
