Description for B&B:

Welcome to La Tisserande, a charming historical stone guesthouse that embraces the past while looking towards the future. Tucked away amidst woodlands, rivers, oceans, and ancient mountains in the heart of Brittany, this whimsical and serene retreat is waiting to welcome solo travelers, couples, families, and friends.

Whether you are on a quest to uncover the myths and legends of this enchanting region, seeking a romantic escape immersed in nature, or simply craving a moment of tranquility and self-care through forest-bathing, La Tisserande can bring your desires to life. Our XVII century flax-farm and linen-weavery serves as the perfect base for exploring the wonders of the surrounding area in all directions.

But your vacation here holds a greater purpose beyond personal enjoyment. 100% of the proceeds from your stay at La Tisserande support La SOURCE Center for Research & Creation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to Love-Studies and the world's first international and interdisciplinary research center of its kind. By investing in your own adventure, you contribute to ongoing research that is shaping a better world.

Step into a realm of imagination, where hidden beauty awaits on the other side of each tree, river, and moment. Our space also harmonizes with the earth, as we embrace an ecological lifestyle that encourages learning about our shared home - our marvelous planet.

At La Tisserande, you will be catered to by our team of four passionate coordinators, along with our adorable mini-dog, three hens, a gus, a duck, and eleven goats. We are here to serve you, the project, and ultimately, the world.

Our Maison d'Hôtes de Charme underwent a renovation in 2012 using ecological and natural materials. We take pride in providing luxury hotel linens from Linvosges, washed in organic, body-safe, and earth-safe detergents. Our high-end memory foam mattresses ensure a restful sleep, leaving you refreshed and energized for the adventures that await. We also offer organic, body-safe, and earth-safe customized soap, body wash, and shampoo, sourced locally.

Choose from a variety of accommodations, including a duplex suite for three people, a duplex suite for four people, a double bedroom suite for four people, and an independent fully equipped cottage for two to three people. All our rooms grant you open access to the heated pool.

Feel free to explore and enjoy our large, slightly wild garden, filled with peaceful corners for picnics and sunbathing. As a traditional French "corps de ferme," our property is designed with a central meeting place amidst the stone buildings.

Additionally, our Hearth, a combination of Earth and Heart, is available for sharing. Twice a week, we offer Table d'Hôtes, and whenever possible, we cook directly with wood fire in our summer kitchen. Aside from these occasions, you are welcome to utilize this space to prepare your own meals.

Come and experience the magic of La Tisserande, where history, nature, and a commitment to making a positive impact converge to create an unforgettable experience for you and a better world for all.
