Une nuitée à 4 chez Fiona le 1er juin après une bonne journée à vélo : une vraie étape sympa, confortable, pétillante comme notre hôte, ... N'hésitez-pas à y faire une halte et à également aller dîner au restaurant du village en bord de canal. Merci Fiona pour toutes vos attentions et surtout ne changez rien!!!

Nous avons fait le canal latéral à la Garonne à vélo fin septembre 2015. Nous avions réservé chez Fiona très proche du canal. Accueil sympathique, délicieux apéritif; parfait. Une des meilleures chambre d'hotes que nous ayons fréquentée. A bientôt lors d'un passage dans la région.

Une réservation tardive avec un accueil téléphonique adorable qui nous a donné hâte d'arriver. Et la réalité est à la hauteur de ce que nous attendions: propreté, emplacement par rapport à la piste cyclable,calme, petit déjeuner savoureux et conseils de visite avisés. Un grand merci à Fiona.

Parfait
Venue pour un mariage, j'ai été complètement charmée par l'accueil de Fiona et par l'environnement champêtre. La chambre est très propre, très confortable (avec la clim!), la literie est bonne, le petit dejeuner était un vrai festin et le cadre verdoyant, mais c'est avant tout la gentillesse, la bonne humeur et l'accueil incoyable de Fiona que j'ai apprécié ! Je n'ai qu'un regret : ne pas avoir pu en profiter plus longtemps!

Séjour
Petit séjour de découverte mais émerveillé par le cadre l accueil et surtout la convivialité de nos hôtes . Fiona véritable cordon bleu écossais mais à la mode "frenchie",nous a reçu avec simplicité et tout est réuni pour passer un séjour calme et reposant.....à recommander vivement

Directions
To reach Maoutens from exit 5 Marmande on the A62, take the D933 towards Marmande, Bergerac, and Perigueux. Once you see the sign for SANDS BRIDGE, make a right turn at the first available opportunity, following the sign for FOURQUES s/ESG. Continue on this road for approximately 2.5 km. After passing the church, Maoutens will be located on your right side. Look for a wooden chalet with a small sign on a tree outside the path indicating .
If you are cycling from Bordeaux, you can leave the cycle path at the Fourques bridge. Once you cross the bridge, take a left turn at the crossroads. Pass by the post office and continue until you reach the church. After the church, the entrance to Maoutens will be 300m on your right.
For those cycling from Toulouse, you can leave the cycle path just before the Fourques Eglise bridge. Cross the bridge and make a right turn. Follow the road that runs alongside the canal for around 200m. Eventually, this road will veer away from the canal with a left and then a right-hand bend. The entrance to Maoutens will be on your left at the second bend.
