Description for B&B:

Welcome to the quaint and serene old farm of Louis and Bertha, located in the picturesque Drôme des Collines, just 45 minutes south of Lyon. Situated between Tain l'Hermitage and Valencia, our charming farm is nestled amidst the vineyards of Crozes - Hermitage and lush orchards. Whether you're seeking a peaceful night's rest or an extended stay, we invite you to rediscover the essence of countryside living.

Steeped in history, our traditional Provençal farmhouse has been a part of our family for generations. The scent of hay, the presence of wine barrels, and the memories of farm animals and antique tools evoke the vibrant past of our beloved Louis. Today, our farm continues to thrive as a winery and fruit farm. Since 2001, we have worked diligently to preserve the original character of our family home. We have used only natural and traditional materials like wood, Rhone stones, lime, and clay, ensuring that the essence of the past remains intact.

Gather around our inviting farm table or bask under the shade of pine trees during the summer months. As you enjoy our hospitality, you will discover our passions for renovation, decoration, woodworking, and pottery. These hobbies are complemented by our delectable homemade products. With a deep-rooted love for our region, we take pride in preparing traditional and regional cuisine using the fruits of our labor. Our garden vegetables are grown and harvested at the peak of ripeness, just as Louis's grandfather did, resulting in an explosion of flavors and culinary delights.

When you stay with us, you will not only feel at ease but also connect with the soul and memories that permeate our farmhouse. Allow the house to tell its captivating story as you embrace the warmth and tranquility that surrounds you.

Directions

To reach our destination, take exit 13 for Tain l'Hermitage on the A7 motorway. Proceed ahead at the next three roundabouts following the signs for Saint-Vallier. At the fourth roundabout, turn towards Valencia and De La Roche Glun. Keep an eye out for our signs that read "THE tinal THE HERMITAGE, 800 right." Take the road on the right that is marked "The Saviaux, Les Hauts Saviaux." After crossing a small bridge and a railway junction, continue straight. Our farm will be the first one on the left. The entire journey from the motorway exit should take approximately 5 minutes. Have a pleasant trip!
