Fleury is a charming 19th century French farmhouse situated in the tranquil Brittany countryside, a mere 20 minutes away from the historic Mont Saint Michelle. This traditional house boasts beautiful oak beams, stone fireplaces, and an array of antique furniture. It welcomes guests throughout the summer months and offers a continental breakfast included in the room price, served daily from 7.30-10.0 in the dining room. Upon request, evening meals are also available.The bedrooms are tastefully furnished and equipped with private toilet facilities. For families, there are two spacious suites complete with baby equipment. Additionally, guests have access to a kitchen and sitting room with cooking and laundry facilities. Outside, a large landscaped garden awaits, featuring a barbecue, garden furniture, and petang. Private off-road parking is also provided.
Hospitality is our passion, and as such, my husband and I are very sociable hosts. We are fluent in French, English, and German, making communication with our guests effortless. If you desire a peaceful and idyllic holiday in the heart of the French countryside, while still being in close proximity to major tourist attractions, Fleury is the perfect choice.
Situated near the charming towns of Combourg and Dol de Bretagne, a variety of restaurants, shops, and markets are within reach, allowing you to savor the local cuisine. St Malo, a nearby coastal town, offers sailing opportunities, while the medieval city of Dinan presents a plethora of festivals, markets, and cultural events during the summer months. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the abundance of golf courses in the area, and nature lovers can enjoy fishing, walking, or tree climbing in the forest of Villcartier, just 2 kilometers away.
For those who wish to explore further afield, there is a convenient train service from Dol de Bretagne to Renne, which also has an airport. Notably, the bay of Mont Saint Michelle has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979. Here, you can witness the extraordinary spectacle of Europe's largest tides. Cette demeure vaut le détour, les propriétaires le méritent- This house is worth seeing, the owners
La demeure est magnifique, le parc est tout aussi beau. Lensemble est joliment décoré et entretenu.
La propriétaire était au petit soin sans être trop intrusive (toujours un petit mot sympathique). Nous avons apprécié.
Le petit déjeuner était complet et copieux.
Nous avions réservé la chambre familiale (2 chambres à létage et une cuisine au rez-de-chaussée).
La literie est correcte et les chambre sont spacieuses avec tout le nécessaire.
Nous avons 2 enfants de 5 et 8 ans. Ils étaient ravis de pouvoir damuser dans le parc (les enfants ont adoré la cabane dans l'arbre) après le petit déjeuner avant que nous partions en balade.
La propriété est idéalement située, elle se trouve à côté du mythique Mont Saint Michel, de Saint Malo, de Dinard, des plages.
Les lieux touristiques ou de loisirs se trouvent à 40 minutes maximum de la propriété.
Ce lieu est tout aussi bien pour se balader que pour se reposer.
Nous y retournerons, cest une certitude.

The house is beautiful, the park is just as beautiful. The set is beautifully decorated and maintained.
The owner was a little care without being too intrusive (always a nice word). We appreciated.
The breakfast was full and plentiful.
We had booked the family room (2 rooms upstairs and a kitchen on the ground floor).
The bedding is ok and the rooms are spacious with everything you need.
We have 2 children of 5 and 8 years old. They were delighted to be able to have fun in the park (the kids loved the treehouse) after breakfast before we went on a ride.
The property is ideally located, it is next to the mythical Mont Saint Michel, Saint Malo, Dinard, beaches .......
The tourist or leisure places are within 40 minutes maximum of the property.
This place is just as good for walking around as for resting.
We will return, it is a certainty.

To reach Fougeres from Dol de Bretagne, follow these revised travel directions: Take the D155 road towards Fougeres and make a left turn 1km before reaching Trans la Foret. Look for the sign indicating Gallerie Fleury.
