This charming cottage is situated in a beautiful forest location directly on Lake Nissången, just 15 km from the center of Malung in Dalarna. It is conveniently located with a distance of 350 km from Stockholm, 420 km from Göteborg, and 710 km from Malmö.

The cottage offers a peaceful and serene setting, allowing guests to enjoy the lake and surrounding nature. You can easily access the lake for swimming directly from the property, while a nearby sandy beach is perfect for small children.

One of the highlights of this cottage is its spacious sun deck, facing south and west, providing a breathtaking 180-degree view of the lake. This allows you to keep an eye on any swimming children while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

The cottage itself has a charmingly primitive atmosphere, as there is no electricity. Lighting is provided by candles and oil lamps, creating a cozy and rustic ambiance. Drinking water is collected from a well on the property.

The living room features a fireplace, and a large dining table is placed by a set of windows, offering magnificent views of the lake. In the back of the room, there is a double bed for comfortable sleeping arrangements.

The main bedroom has two bunk beds of the traditional Dalecarlian type, providing a total of four beds. Additional twin beds are available in a small bedroom in the boathouse building.

The kitchen lacks running water but is equipped with a wood stove, LPG stove and oven, and an LPG fridge, ensuring you have everything you need for cooking and storing food.

A log house situated directly on the beach houses a wood-fired sauna, a simple shower, and a relaxation room with stunning views of the lake. It also features a sun deck in two levels and a connecting pier into the lake, allowing you to fully enjoy the waterfront.

The boathouse contains a woodshed, a row-boat, and two bicycles for your use. Safety vests in adult and children sizes are also provided. There is a separate privy with a view of the lake.

Good fishing opportunities are available in the lake, with perch and pike being common catches.

The rental rates for this cottage vary depending on the season. During Mid- and High season (late June, July, August), the minimum rental period is two weeks, with Saturday as the changeover day.

The weekly rates include firewood, LPG gas, a rowboat, and two standard bicycles. In the high season, the rates range from SEK 6900 to 7600, while in the low season, they range from SEK 5500 to 6200.

Guests are expected to leave the house neat and clean, and cleaning materials are provided. Additional services such as final cleaning, bed linen, and towels are available at an extra cost.
