Description for Gite

Welcome to the town of Loches, a place that still preserves its medieval and Renaissance heritage despite the changes over the centuries. With a history and architecture spanning 1000 years, Loches is home to the Keep, the Former Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame now St Ours, the Royal Apartments, and the Chancellery. Since 2000, Loches has been recognized as part of the national network of Towns and Areas of Artistic and Historic Interest.

Nestled in the heart of the Touraine, known as the "Frances garden," Loches is surrounded by vineyards, gastronomy, vegetables, and cheese. Covering just 100 km, the Touraine is renowned for its distinguished Châteaux of the Loire Valley, including Chenonceau, Chambord, Amboise, Chinon, and Villandry.

If you're looking for a romantic or family getaway, our recently renovated property offers a charming apartment and a lovely studio. Together, they provide the comfort of an apartment with the convenience of a breakfast service.

The apartment features an entrance hall with a sofa bed (160x200 cm), TNT television, and a DVD player. The salon dining room includes a sofa, library, and a double table. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, induction stove (4), oven, microwave, dishwasher, family pot, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, crockery, and cooking equipment. The bedroom offers a double bed (160x200 cm) and a single bed (90x190 cm), while the bathroom has a separate bathtub and toilet.

The studio consists of a main room with a kitchen area (including a fridge, electric plates (2), multifunction oven, steam cooking, coffee machine, moka, kettle, toaster, and complete cooking kit), a bed (160x200 cm), and TNT television with a DVD player. The bathroom features a unique shower with a small protective wall and tent, making it easier to bathe babies with a suitable little bath.

We provide various free services, including bed linen, covers, towels for the bathroom and kitchen, baby equipment (high chair, bed, small bath, potty) upon request, high-speed internet access, electricity, heating, and water. Small pets are allowed upon request. Laundry facilities with a washing machine and dryer are available, as well as a garden-drying option. Other amenities include a mop with bucket, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board, electrical adapters upon request, and a hairdryer. If you arrive at the Loches station, we offer a taxi service from the station to the apartment or car rental garage upon request.

Additional services available upon request include lunch packets, hot bread, and croissants from the bakery in the morning, cleaning service, cleaning products, taxi service from the Tours or Amboise station to Loches, the apartment, or car rental garage, and babysitting in the evening for a romantic dinner or a night at the theater.
