Directions

If you are traveling by air, you have several options for flights to La Rochelle. Easyjet offers flights from Gatwick and Bristol. Flybe has flights from Birmingham, Southampton, and Manchester. Ryanair has flights from Stansted and Dublin to both La Rochelle and Nantes.

If you are traveling by motorway (A83), you can take Exit 7 and follow the route to La Rochelle on N137. After passing through the village of St-Gemme-la-Plaine, you will reach a roundabout. Take the left turn towards Fontenay on D949, and continue on this road through various small villages. Eventually, you will reach Mouzeuil st Martin. Pass La Poste on your left, and just opposite, there is a turning to Le Langon. Drive for about 3km, crossing a railway line.

In Le Langon, you will encounter a T junction with the Square opposite and Cafe de Sport on your left. Turn left at this junction, and you will soon come across a sharp left-hand bend. La Jolie Maison is located on your right, just off the bend. Look for the large green gates.

Alternatively, you can take Exit junction 8 and go left at the roundabout, following the road towards La Rochelle on D968. Continue on this road until you reach a right-hand turning to Le Poire sur velluire on D68. Follow this road through villages for approximately 8km, and you will enter Le Langon. At a tricky T-junction, turn left and follow the road around. La Jolie Maison will be on the left-hand side, just before you reach a sharp right-hand bend and the square.
