Description:

Description for B&B:

Situated in the heart of a park filled with ancient trees and only 400 meters away from the sparkling sea, the enchanting Domain of the "Eolienne" awaits your arrival in Carqueiranne for an unforgettable vacation on the breathtaking Azure Coast.

Originally constructed in the early 19th century and recently renovated in 2009, this charming countryhouse can comfortably accommodate 8 to 10 guests and boasts its own expansive 1400 square meter garden. Its ideal location offers the best of both worlds, with close proximity to both the wonders of nature and urban conveniences (20 kilometers from Toulon and 5 kilometers from Hyères). Take advantage of the region's abundant sunshine, averaging 300 days per year, and indulge in all that this magnificent area has to offer, from exploring the pristine beaches to discovering the countless attractions.

The domain derives its name from a historic windmill that once stood on the property. This windmill played a crucial role in pumping water from a well to a cistern, which was then used to irrigate the surrounding farmland. This innovative system of water collection and storage was a precious resource in a region often plagued by droughts. Although the windmill was unfortunately destroyed during the Second World War, the avenue leading to the house proudly retains its name as the Avenue of the Valley of the Wind Turbine.
