Located in the picturesque Dordogne Valley, just a short distance from Sarlat and in close proximity to the charming villages of Domme, La Roque Gageac, and Beynac, as well as the renowned castles that have made the Black Perigord famous, you will discover the tranquil village of Montfort.

Nestled amidst the hills, a mere 200 yards from Montfort castle, our country house exudes a delightful charm that has been carefully preserved.

Our guest rooms, which have recently been renovated, are situated on the upper floors, offering a breathtaking view of our walnut grove and the sprawling countryside beyond. There are a total of four non-smoking guest rooms (known as "chambres d'hôtes"), three of which feature European king size beds (160x200 cm), while the remaining room is equipped with double single beds (90x200 cm). All rooms boast en-suite shower rooms and are tastefully furnished with utmost precision. Additionally, two of the rooms are fitted with air conditioning for your comfort.

Start your day with a delectable breakfast served in our charming wood-paneled dining room or on our inviting terrace. Our garden and sunny terrace provide the perfect spot to unwind and relax. Highway: A20 Paris (Lyon Clermont F.) - Toulouse, exit number 55 Souillac.

Directions from Souillac by car: Head towards Sarlat and then take D703 "Vallée de la Dordogne". At Carsac, turn towards Village de Montfort and take the first right.

Directions from Bergerac by car: Follow the Dordogne Valley towards Sarlat, then follow the signs for Beynac and La Roque Gageac. Continue straight through the village and take a left towards Vitrac. At Vitrac Port, turn right towards Montfort. Follow the dead end road to the left of Castle Montfort.

Directions from Sarlat by car: Follow the directions to Cahors. At the traffic circle "sechoir a tabac-Leclerc", go towards Montfort. Once in the village of Montfort, take the first right street.
