Josie and Jacques extend a warm welcome to their charming home in Ariège. Situated 700 meters above sea level in the picturesque village of Orgibet, overlooking the stunning Bellongue Couserans valley, their house offers breathtaking views of the majestic Moussaù mountain. The family home boasts a spacious and tranquil room, complete with two comfortable double beds, a cozy lounge area with a library, and a baby cot. A private bathroom with a shower and toilet is exclusively reserved for guests. Start your day with a delicious breakfast, included in your stay, served in the owners' dining room. You can also cozy up by the fireplace to keep warm during colder days.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there are numerous activities to enjoy in the surrounding area. Embark on scenic hikes such as the Mount Valier route or the St Jacques de Compostela trail in the Ribérot Valley. If you love skiing, the Mourtis resort (approximately 30km away) or Guzet (approximately 40km away) offer fantastic alpine slopes. Other activities include paragliding, mountain biking, trout fishing, mushroom picking, and witnessing the transhumance tradition. Don't miss the chance to visit beautiful spots like Lake Bethmale, the Biros valley, the Balaguère valley, the Cave of Mas d'Azil, and the historic town of St Lizier with its eleventh-century cathedral and remarkable frescoes. The rates for accommodation are as follows: 40th for a single guest, 45th for a couple, and an additional 10e per extra person. Children under 5 years old stay free of charge.

Directions

To get to your destination, start from Toulouse and take the Foix-Tarbes route. Once you reach St Girons, take a right turn towards Luchon. Before reaching Castillon, make a right turn in the direction of Portet d'Aspet, Luchon, and Audressein. Continue for 8km until you reach your final destination.
