The gites at Domaine de Marsan have been meticulously designed, transforming the old stables and winemaking barn into comfortable and modern accommodations. We have carefully preserved the original features of the buildings, such as the half-timbered walls, interior beams, and stonework, to provide a unique and charming atmosphere.

Each gite is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a tranquil and relaxing holiday. The ground floor features a modern and fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with a fireplace, a convenient closet, and a toilet. Upstairs, you will find comfortable bedrooms, a bathroom complete with a bath, shower, and toilet, and a mezzanine overlooking the living room.

Outside, on the south side of the building, there is a delightful eating area with a barbecue, perfect for enjoying meals in the fresh air. On the opposite side, a garage is available for your convenience.

We offer two different gites to suit your needs. La Grive is suitable for 4 to 6 persons, with two bedrooms and a total floor space of 1000sq.ft. La Palombe, on the other hand, is ideal for 6 to 8 persons, featuring three bedrooms and a total floor space of 1370sq.ft.

Directions

Directions to Parleboscq:
To get to Parleboscq, the coordinates for Marsans Castel are N43 55.300 E0 02.057 (WGS 84). If you're driving in France for the first time, here are some tips:
- In France, they drive on the right side of the road, so be cautious when starting off after a stop or when turning right.
- French drivers often drive very close to you, so avoid harsh braking to prevent them from getting too close.
- Flashing headlights in France indicate "I am here, and you must get out of my way" rather than "after you" as it does in the UK. Headlight flashing is also used to warn other drivers of police ahead.
- It's important to carry your driving license and all car documents, including the logbook, as the police often conduct checks. Non-residents must pay on-the-spot fines if they don't have the necessary documents.
- On-the-spot fines are issued for various offenses, including speeding. Speed limits in France are 50 km/h (30 mph) in towns, 90 km/h (56 mph) on ordinary roads, 110 km/h (70 mph) on dual carriageways (only when indicated), and 130 km/h (81 mph) on motorways. These limits are reduced by 20 km/h in the rain.
- Be cautious at stop signs, as the police are keen on catching motorists who don't fully stop. Overtaking and crossing continuous white lines are also strictly enforced.
- Traffic jams are common on motorways, especially at toll booths. Look out for signs indicating "BOUCHON," which means slow down and be alert.
- Most motorways in France require payment, either with a set price for a short distance or by taking a ticket and paying at the end of the trip.
- Service stations are available on motorways, and it's advisable to use them, particularly at night, to avoid any safety risks in remote lay-bys.
- Pay attention to combined town signs and speed limit signs. The town name on a sign edged in red indicates a 50 km/h speed limit unless otherwise indicated. The speed limit ends when the town sign has a red line through it.
- In some towns and on quiet rural routes, traffic from the right has right of way (priorité à droite). Stay alert and don't assume.
- Make sure to have a map of France for navigation. If you're bringing your own car, get breakdown insurance and a green card from your insurance company. For assistance in reorienting yourself if you accidentally cross the border into Switzerland or Patagonia, keep our telephone number in France handy: 05 58 44 35 04.
