Welcome to the House of Cabourne, a modern and inviting accommodation located in the beautiful gorges of the Allier. After a complete renovation in 2013, we are ready to welcome guests all year round. Situated in the charming town of Saint-Privat-d'Allier in the south of Auvergne, we are just 18 minutes away from Le Puy-en-Velay.

At the House of Cabourne, we specialize in organizing unforgettable weekends for our guests. We offer 9 different hiking trails, including the famous Camino de Santiago, as well as the GR 40 and GR Gorges de l'Allier. For adventure enthusiasts, there are plenty of exciting activities to try, such as rafting, canyoning, mountain biking (with bike rental available on-site), sand yachting, pendulum jumping, horseback riding, and muscle relaxation.

Even if the weather is not on your side, don't worry! We have a range of indoor activities to keep you entertained, including bowling, laser game, an indoor swimming pool, and an aquatic leisure center. Additionally, you can explore nearby historical landmarks such as the Lafayette Castle, Polignac Castle, and the UNESCO-listed old town of Le Puy-en-Velay.

The House of Cabourne is also the perfect venue for your special family occasions, such as birthdays, reunions, weddings, and seminars. We offer a spacious room that can accommodate up to 350 people, located just 100 meters away.

Directions

To get to Saint-Privat-Allier, you can take RN 88 from Lyon, Saint-Etienne, or Le Puy-en-Velay. Another option is to take A75 from Clermont-Ferrand or Montpellier and exit at Saint-Chely-dApcher, Saugues, or Saint-Privat. If you prefer to travel by train, you can take the Le-Puy-en-Velay train to the Monistrol-Allier railway station. For air travel, there is a daily flight between Paris and Le Puy-en-Velay at the Puy-Loudes Aerodrome, operated by Hex Company Air. Additionally, there are flights available from Clermont-Ferrand, Lyon Saint-Exuperie, and Saint-Etienne.
